Comedy Central Developing Comedy From 'Tosh.0' EP

Comedy Central is looking to mine the Tosh.0 writers' room for more hits. The male-skewing network has ordered Review with Forrest MacNeil, a half-hour comedy pilot fromCharlie Siskel, a writer and executive producer behind the network's unscripted hitTosh.0. Joining him on the project,based on the Australian show Review with Myles Barlow, is fellow writer and executive producer as well asstar Andrew Daly, who will playForrest. Review, developed in-house, is a dark comedy revolving around an overly earnest critic who reviewssome of life's most difficult experiences --as decided by his TV audience-- by living them. In this case: the adrenaline rush of stealing, the trauma of divorce, the harrowing effects of murder and the wonder and joy of anonymous sex.The married father then rates each of his experiences on a scale of one to five stars. Siskel has a lengthy history with the network, having served as an executive producer on the network's sketch-variety seriesImportant Things With Demetri Martin before joining Tosh in 2010. The latterhas become Comedy Central's No. 1 show on Tuesday nights among the coveted male 18-34 demographic, averaging 4.2 million total viewers and a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demo. The Daniel Tosh clip comedy vehicle was renewed for a fourth season in June. Siskel is repped by CAA and Morris Yorn Barnes Levine; Daly, whose recent TV credits include Eastbound & Down and The Life & Times of Tim, is repped by CAA and Principato-Young.
