to break into a big sewer pipe like that with a rock. I have a feeling
the rock would give before the pipe. Especially since he'd have to
whack it multiple times to widen the original head-size hole he put in
it. While I understand the symbolic significance of the scene, I can't
help but wonder about the plausibility of it. Also, is this how he
escaped in the original version of the story by Stephen King?
Gotta go, the warden's fixing to get his and I don't want to miss it!
